Patrick Newcomb

Patrick "Pat” Newcomb is the Junior Vice Commander of VFW Post 12101 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pat has been an active Life Member since he joined Post 12101, earning his VFW eligibility serving in the Republic of Korea. He retired from the US Air Force as a Lieutenant Colonel with over 22 years of service.

Pat then worked for over 17 years as a government contractor, first at the Joint Unmanned Aircraft Systems Center of Excellence at Creech AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada, and then supporting the ongoing exercises GREEN FLAG and RED FLAG at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas.

In addition to the VFW, his volunteer work includes five years with the non-profit Nevada Aerospace Hall of Fame, and he currently volunteers with the Las Vegas United Services Organization (USO).
