Robert joined the VFW as a life member originally from Hawaii and became a Bronze Legacy member with Post 12101. He is a 29-year Army Veteran with 5 combat tours in Iraq. He is a life member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and also a proud member of various other organizations. He served around the world as an Armored Crewman, Instructor, and Operations Non-Commisioned Officer. He also worked at the Embassy in Kabul Afghanistan for the State Department after he retired and now works for the Las Vegas Raiders as a Response Team Supervisor.
